If you are looking for something a little different and a piece
of billiard history then this cue may interest you. This is a Brunswick
B26 cue converted by Roger Corsair. The cue features in the 1920
Brunswick catalogue and came from an estate house and has been kept in
good condition over the years. The cue came as a one piece and I had
it converted using traditional joints and materials. Custom joint
protectors where also made to fit the butt and shafts.

Butt Specifications:
Width: The butt is the old fat style width and has a great balance.
Length: 28.6 inchesWeight: 15.20 ounces
Material: Ivory butt cap and joint.

Condition

The butt is dead straight and has an oiled finish. Understandably it
has developed a couple of small nicks over the past 90+ years and a
very slight separation on one of the points. I decided not to have
these filled and the butt re-finished, as Roger suggested the solvents
could lift the badge which I wanted to keep. Although if someone
preferred a re-finish, this would be a fairly inexpensive alteration.

Shaft Specifications:
The cue comes with 3 shafts, 2 Predator shafts and the original
shaft.1st and 2nd Generation Predator Shafts. Both are test hit
shafts: in mint condition, one is an original 314, the other is a 2nd
generation shaft. Both roll clinically straight alone and with the
butt. The cue is 57.5 inches long with each shaft.

The specifications are:
Tip Diameter: 12.75mm
Length: 29.2 inches
Weight: approx.. 4.15 ounces
Material: Ivory joint Collars, Predator Ferrules

Original Shaft
Looking down the shaft it appears to have developed a slight lean over
the years, although, it rolls dead straight with the butt joined
together. The cue is 57 inches long with this shaft. The shaft hits
like a dream and I decided to restore it with the butt to maintain
it's character.

The specifications are:
Tip Diameter: 13mm
Length: 28.2 inches
Weight: approx.. 4.35 ounces
Material: Ivory ferrule and joint collar

The cue has a LOA from Roger Corsair

Wish you had better pics. Maybe try posting them in a .jpg format instead of a .gif. I'm a big fan of Corsair cues. Looks like a beautiful example of his work. Best of luck with your sale. That's a super nice collectible for someone.

I find the upload picture limited a 100kb per pic limits uploading quality jpegs

Am i missing something?

I see some cues where large pics are open with the text, i can seem to work out how to do that. Any help would be great..

Thanks

Leon,

Go to www.photobucket.com and set up a free account there. You can import your pix there very easily without resizing them...it will do it for you. Then you can simply copy and paste into your thread.

BTW< PM me with what you are looking for out of the Corsair.
Joe
