Brunswick ball return system(s)

I'm getting ready to rework the rails on my late model OS8 Medalist at home. A couple of years ago I was trying to find a return system with no luck.

That said, are the Brunswick return systems the same where I could use one from a GC and, if so, can a 9 foot system be cut to fit? I think the problem may be with the side pockets as the Medalist subrails are one piece.

It would take some magic toget one to fit, not the same kind of returns as Medalist.

The GC has a slate sill thats protruding out past the base frame, GC ball returns have a inside and a outside attaching arms with eyelets. the ball return attaches to the sill and the slate frame.
Never seen a fibre board medalist..
Like glen mentioned, I would not call it magic but maybe a life hack.

Geesh' I'm sorry, I did not read it right. I thought it said " OSB" rather than "OS8" my apologies' this small print in my phone got me.
Go for it. I know you can do it. Just relocate the stiffeners at the ends of the ball runs and cut to length. If all else fails that plastic plumbing stap works wonders.

I've never recovered a GC. All my DIY stuff are Valleys and plywood bathtubs with fancy legs. Time to get on my back under a GC and see what's going on.
