I have an old Brunswick Cue that came along with my early 60s Gold Crown table. I was wondering if it's worth anything. The label is there but beat up a bit. It says True Balance made by Brunswick, Baker and Callender. The cue is very straight, one piece and has a black ferrule. It has it's share of dents and nicks and has a huge black bumper on the end. It's a #20. I was considering refinishing it and possibly using it as a bridge shaft.

My memory might be bad but back at that time it was like all the house cue ferrules were Black and only Custom was white.

Worth any kind of real money? Not to say so. I would probaly clean it up best I could, including sticker and clear coat it than use it as you have planned.

Yeah, I really didn't think it was a 20 pound cue. I was just be a smart-aleck. Hence, the winking smiley.

So, this number 20... does it say "20" or "#20"? Cuz if it's just "20", I would imagine that represents the weight in ounces. If it's "#20", then it's some sort of numbering scheme that holds some significance beyond my (limited) knowledge.
 
I also have Brunswick Tru Balance. I'm considering taking it to a cuemaker and convertng it to a sneak pete. I'm located in upstate NY. Can someone recommend a cuemaker in the area who would be a right fit for the job? tahnks
