Can anyone tell me where I could view pictures of a gold grown 1 or 2. I am planning to buy a used table with no markings. I believe the table to be a gold crown but the name plate on the top rail is missing and there are no markings I can find indicating the tables maker. By the looks of the table and it's heavyweight construction, roller counters on head rail, side rails, legs and feet I want to think it is Brunswick. The owner says it is a Sauiner-Wilhem. I contacted them and they said they made there own tables from the 1920's-1975, with no identifying markers. In addition they sell brunswick tables. Any help or opinions would be greatly appreciated.

I used to own a Saunier-Wilhem (circa 1950's)and it was a great table. It looked exactly like a Gold Crown but did not have the roller counters. I learned to play on a 9 foot Gold Crown and the Saunier-Wilhem played just as good. Hope this helps.

Hmm, GC I, non adjustable legs, deep slates and aluminum corners ?
GC II, pot metal corners and adjustable legs?
GC III brass corners non-doweled slates.
All have serial numbers on the slates and frame.
Unmarked GC? Might be ACME.

Joey, what do you mean by deep slates? Are you refering to the pocket shelf?

The slates on GC I extend deep in the corner pockets. Just like Diamond and Gabriel tables.
Balls hang there all the time. On my GC II, if you lag a ball in the pocket, they "fall in" all the time after hitting the facing.
On GC I and Diamond, they get hung often.
