I’ve had 2 massaged anniversaries and a sport king but I still prefer the GCIV. I’ve never played on a V. I didn’t care for the VI but I don’t think the one I played on was set up very well. The 4 is a keeper.
My fave too. Magoo's in Tulsa has 10 nice 4's.The 4 is a keeper.
If you're worried about a scratch on the rails you may want to wait. I played on one in a hall that has 8. They are starting to show scratches on the head rail, probably from people breaking. They play great though. These has 4.5 inch pockets.Anyone been able to play on one of these yet? I’m going to be building a house soon and am considering a GC IV, V or this one.
With the aluminum rails, how thick is the overlay? I’d be SICK if a scratch, say from a rivet in a pair of jeans, was deep enough to expose shiny metal underneath.
I’ve always liked the look of the V but the IV is my favorite table of all time.
Unreal oversight on B-wick’s part if this brand new to the market table is already showing scratched metal. If you're worried about a scratch on the rails you may want to wait. Maybe they'll rethink the rail covers and come up with something more resilient.
It is. Not sure what the material is but the scratches kind of look like what you'd see on coated aluminium that was scratched.Unreal oversight on B-wick’s part if this brand new to the market table is already showing scratched metal.
Bummer. It is. Not sure what the material is but the scratches kind of look like what you'd see on coated aluminium that was scratched.
That being said, it wouldn't keep it out of my house. Played real nice and other than the covering I think it's a great table.
Well if they are going to try to get some market share back from diamond they are going to need to spend some serious money on marketingAt the CSI events in Las Vegas, there are many 9-foot GC7s in the vendor areas. Looks like they are doing a major marketing push.
Brunswick needs to help start a US-only pro tour, preferably 10b but it doesn't matter. Get some decent sponsorship, play 12-15 events a yr on those new 7's. It could sorta be like AAA baseball to WNT/Pred majors. A good proving ground to get people playing on big boxes.Well if they are going to try to get some market share back from diamond they are going to need to spend some serious money on marketing
First time watching it looks like quite a table sounds like they did a lot of engineering to try and make something really good really superior. And then they stuck their name all over it in two inch high letters and trash the appearance. I always hated that when car dealers do that. The Brunswick guy (Nick Baron, President of the Brunswick Billiards Group) sounds really candid and like he knows what he's talking about. That's a very good sign.
