Hi all, name is adam, live in the uk. i am taking delivery of a metro tournament edition in 3 weeks time.

based this choice on 3 reasons.. 1- it being what i think is a great looking table, 2-offical world champs table and 3-pockets at 4 1/2" have to imrove someones game..

just looking for any comments on the quality and playability of this type of table in particular from anyone who's also choosen the tournament edition as their home table..

thanks, adam...

Bump.

I'd like to hear thoughts on the metro tournament edition as well, especially compared to Diamonds and GCs.

Also, why the big price difference between the GC and the Metro?

The Metro is a very nice looking table and plays fine however, IMO the Gold Crown is the better of the two as long as it also had tight pockets.

The Metro is too wide at the center of the long rails. Makes for a non-standard bridge distance from the rail. The table really feels awkward for this reason.

A Gabriels or Diamond pool table would have been an even better choice still.

Agreed.
Metro was not designed by Bruswick. It shows.
