I am curious to any information on Brunswich Monarch Pool tables. I may be able to get my hands on a 9' one for $2500 with mirrored rack and accessories. I have not looked at it yet but at least it would give me a restoration project if it is in bad shape. Thanks!

Are you sure it's a "Monarch" Table and not a Brunswick Table with "Monarch" Cushions? There were lots of the latter, but a true Monarch table is rather rare and quite valuable! The Monarch table is the one with the cast iron lions which serve as the legs to the table. They are worth $50K or more in the right condition. Most of the time people are confused by the name plate which says "Monarch" on it, but it's only refering to the cushions.

just more hot air!

Exactly.
Well it turns out that it was not a Monarch, but what appears to be a Wellington... It looks alot like this table here.
Wellington

She mentioned that the table retailer who moved the table for her said it was built in teh 40's but who knows. I could not get a picture. I am not a big fan of these models based on the thin rails and corner pockets, but still a nice sturdy table. And like you said. It said that it has Monarch rails on the name plate. $2500 I don't know

What the heck is a "mirrored rack"?

I meant a mirrored cue rack. That says Brunswick on the Mirror parts. was pretty nice and would have been a nice addition to the table. Not the table I was looking for though.

I am in your area and have a nice antique project table 1904 brunswick newport table 4 1/2 x 9 for a better price. FYI good luck
