Monticello table for sale for one grand whats opinions on this table n price,I will b checking cond out this weekend

I had a Monticello II which I purchased nearly 30 years ago. 9 foot drop pocket from a pool hall that was upgrading to Gold Crowns.

I paid $600 delivered and installed.

Nice looking table which mimicked a commercial table, but it's definitely not a commercial grade table.

Good for a "family" fun table. Doesn't hold a candle to a GC though. That being said, still probably a much better value than your typical new $2000 table sold by a pool table, swimming pool and spa outlet.

Found this photo on google images of the Monticello II. SORRY for the huge image size!

You MIGHT be able to source an old GC for perhaps under $2000 if your budget permits. Many inexpensive GC's may contain miss matched parts, etc. and call for some extra expense sorting things out.

If you can get a gold crown one for a thousand with good rails you will be much better off. They are widely available at that price. They are union carpenter made of hardwood. The frame is built like a railroad trestle.
