I have a chance to buy a Centurion for $1000 and wanted to know the major differences with it and a Gold Crown. The Centurion looks like a GC lite but I figured someone out there would have some experience on one.
 
I have one and it plays like a GC jost not as fancy looking. If it is in good shape I would say it is a good by. I paid 2300 for my store demo.
 
I would definitely post this in Ask the Mechanic section as they can give you the more technical differences. I am sure it will all come down to build quality of the many components, including frame structure, rails, castings, legs, slate thickness, materials used, leveling adjustments etc....

Thanks guys. I will post it over there too. He said it is a year and a half old I just wanted to make sure they werent junk. It is going in a garage so I am not looking for perfection. I would actually feel guilty for sticking an older GC out there.
 
Not bad

I have one, a nine footer. I paid $900 total, including moving/setup. Plays really nice, especially for that kind of money.

The Sends To Be A Shortage In My Area. All Of Them In Austin ARe $2k And Up For A 9.
