I recently read the series on the mother ship website and highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it yet. It really is excellent.
Buddy touches on many nuances of the game. I especially liked his discussions mentioned in several of the segments about playing along the line of position rather than across it. I have been focusing on my speed control and I think this has been one reason I've gotten out of position more often than I'd like. Playing across the line of position leaves much less margin for error, and after gaining Buddy's insight I realize this has been at least part of my problem. I am now seeing many more situations where I have the choice of playing along the line.
