Buddy Hall VS. Efren Reyes, Houston,Texas match!

There was a discussion going on at a tournament once about who was
the best position player.

Funny - I got to see Cole in his prime in DC in a gambling match. He was giving this guy the 8 ball and Cole never missed. I was wondering if he was ever going to miss and then I noticed he wasn't hitting any rails either - every ball smack dab in the center of the pocket. Saw him push out the length of the table (twice - same shot), putting the cue ball on the rail on one end of the table and the object ball slightly off the rail two inches from the pocket (must have been a 89.5% cut). Zapped them in like nothing. It was a jaw dropping experience.

When it was over, the guy told Cole that he must have made a pact with the Devil.

This was my lucky day as I was the only spectator behind closed curtains sitting in the bleachers at Weenie Beenies.

Ah, and the thread comes full circle.
Weenie Beenie's is where a relative unknown played a big money match
with Jim Rempe and showed the world who was boss.
His name...Buddy Hall.

Hey Lock N Load, do you by any chance know Buddy Hall personally and speak to him on the phone? Because that would make you really cool! If I knew Buddy and talked to him I'd mention it all the time to people.

Hello Henho,
I talked to buddy Hall already today. And he called me last night. We talk almost every night. When I post about Buddy he tells me the whole story to post. I am getting all of my stuff about Buddy direct from him!!! No middle man at all. Thanks.
Many Regards,
Lock n Load.
