Built my first Real website...I think?!?! Help?

Some of you may not think this is a pool related(directly) although it is a site selling pool products. I wasn't sure where would be the best place to post this because I'm not trying to get sales outta the deal, business is going great. I'm looking for a little help and this is one of the few places I trust. I thought about putting it in the 'non-pool related' but it is(directly and indirectly), plus I wanted as many eyes to see this as possible...so, if it bugs anyone that I posted this here, I apologize now.

Some of you know I've been cruising around here promoting some new pocketchalkers and that my site looked like a kindergartner built it...well, that's what I was when I started it(in web design that is, I think I just graduated to maybe the 3rd or 4th grade).

It took me about (blushing) 32hrs to figure it all out. That's been 32hrs in the last 3 days. The first one I built with MSFrontpage and I finally decided to invest a little money...(or should I say 'little money' $20) and bought a script. Messing with java script and iFrame for the first time, my brain is mudd. I know, primary school stuff, but home schooled. I'd really appreciate any input and some guidance on a few things from some of you pool junkies who might have a webmasters bug.

This isn't a sales pitch to get people to my site...I really could use some critique and I have some questions about how to turn the menus into dropdowns. I've got a simple script for it but just can't seem to get it all incorporated properly.

Great place for inexpensive and very versital website templates.
 
The layout isn't bad, and the overall look is acceptable. Easy to navigate, and it's a pretty simple design.
Not a fan of that banner. I don't like the font selection for the text and your logo/text/image isn't very clean.
As far as the coding, way too much Javascript and tables. I'd recommend reading up on CSS, and learning how to employ it.

Overall: It's a good job for a first time. And it's easy to navigate around. Still I think there are changes that need to be made. But you can't get much better for $20, and at least you're learning something.

Talk about knockin someone upside the head... Honesty, I 'almost' like it....:o

I know little to nothing implimenting css although I do understand a little...I can 'change' someone elses :rolleyes:
