Bumperless hoppe cues

How about a picture so we can see your new cue? I know I was happy to find a Titlist conversion, I have a Brunswick signed Hoppe cue but I am not sure if I want to do a conversion on it or leave it alone.
It`s nothing fancy, a plain bumperless hoppe player, but i think it looks sharp

I love the Hoppe style. Check out my avatar. I've had that cue for five days now. I've seen some Sly's and have hit with one. Leon Sly does good work. Old wood is the best which is why a Brunswick conversion is so nice. Dufferin's are great for this too but Brunswick has a different history with Hoppe and Mosconi that ups their value. To Fastone, I'd look into the value of the autograph versus the value of a conversion after the cost of the conversion. If the value of the autograph is less than the value of the conversion, do it. I'd like to have a titlist. I'd defintitly convert it, because IMO cues are meant to be played.

Now you need to find a poolroom with a hardwood floor. There is nothing like the guilty pleasure of rolling a bumperless cue slowly on a wood floor! Trust me! Carpeting took a lot of the fun out of pool!
Oddly, there's no fun in rolling one on linoleum or tile, and you could hurt the butt.

I also love that style. I have 2 Brunswicks. One BBC and one Tru Balance. Lee Pepper did them for me. He did a Hoppe ring on one and a Tad butt cap on another.
Even being as plain as a Sneaky those 2 little extras plus the shiny Chromium bolt just set them off nicely. If I ever get another custom, it will also be bumperless.
Most rooms or bars that I have played in have carpet. For the hard wood floors of the older rooms, I just rest it on the toe of my shoe. Have never put so much as a scratch on mine.
