I just had the two, lightly used, 5 year old 7' Diamond tables at our HOA recovered with Champion Eliminator cloth.
I found the pocket wraps (4 cuts, is that right?) edge puckered with lose and hanging tails. The tails are secured with some spray glue and duct tape with the glue and duct tape not holding.
Also more of a concern, is the rails (short rails in particular) are lumpy (about a thumb with apart) when you run your hand down the rail. My guess is that they spaced the staples to far apart but I am not sure. The mechanic said that is normal and will go away when the new cloth stretches.
I called the owner of table distributorship who said "these guy are the best" and he is sending them back Wednesday to fix things.
Can I get some advice on what is acceptable and what I should require from this mechanic?
