Burton Spain Buska type rings??

I once saw some cool rings on a Burton Spain cue. They looked similar to a Bushka ring but had brass rings outlining the alternating ivory and ebony rectangles. Also I think I saw one that used maple and ebony alternating, again outlined with brass.

I tried searching and didn't find much. Can anyone post good pics of this type of ring? Would like to have a cue made with similar rings and need good pics.
Thanks!

Pretty sure I saw a Verl Horn on here a couple of years ago with similar rings...will try and find a pic if it still exists...

They aren't bushka rings, but they're pretty close to what you're describing, at least up by the joint. As best as I can tell, the white is not ivory, but phenolic/plastic, although Burt may have done some with ivory as well. Note that the shaft on the cue is a new shaft by Joel, hence the brighter finish.

I'm sorry I don't have closer photos of the joint, but maybe this helps.

Best,
