Bustamante - Reyes, WPC 9-ball 2002

That was great. Steve Davis and Sid Waddel were hilarious. Oh yeah and Efren and Francisco can play a little too.

I didn't realise it was Steve Davis who did the commentary, but I should have guessed, because he has a lot of funny quotes when being interviewed :)

I miss Sid Waddel. So funny to hear him raise his voice in every sentence :) Isn't he commentating darts now?

He always was commenteting darts - he's been the voice of darts for years. The pool commentary was/is just occasional I think.

Just before this match, Bustamante learned of the death of his daughter. His family and friends convinced him to stay and finish the tournament. Though grief-stricken, Busty went on to meet Earl in the finals. Earl won in one of the most dramatic finals in WPC history.

I believe that he knew that his daughter died three days before that finals, so should be before the last 32 or right after it, not before the quarter final against Reyes.
