Im off 1 year. His last US soil win was in early 2020 his DCC trip. The next US win was mid/late 2024.

it's kind of what i expected. josh has had 3 days competitive table time on these tables, shane comes in cold. not making excuses, it was a great match, VERY high level, but filler looked sharper from the start. the fact that he's shane's bogeyman may have mattered a little, but i think only fedor wouldve had a chance against josh there.

i hope they get good viewing figures for these 1p matches so they will put on more of them.

That was amazing to watch. The level of CB control and shot making abilities of these players is absolutely otherworldly.

What's with the commentators constantly talking about the "tight" 4-1/8" pockets? These guys have been playing on 3.9-4" pockets non-stop for the last year...

They could make em 3.5....just be more safety play, but once in line with open shots, they'd be out.

Interesting to know what the players thought about the 45 seconds shot clock. Shane seemed rushed on one of his shot selection which cost him the rack. Nobody wants to see players taking forever on a shot, but 1p needs more thinking and planning in my opinion.

bad players dont understand that as they tend not to be able to see the obvious shot easily.

A time bank, like chess or backgammon.

Spend your time in difficult spots wisely and don’t waste time in simple spots

They certainly don't need less than a 45 second shot clock. By all means, make them run around the table like rats in a maze.
