I have just purchased a number of butt blanks and to get a price got more than I needed. There are ones with birds eye butt and forearm, cored rosewood butt and forearm, cored ebony butt and forearm and a few full spliced with green veneers. They need only the final turning.

If anyone is interested in some of these please e-mail me at masonr@golden.net. I will not sell these anywhere else.

Post some pics please....I could be interested in the birdseye pieces....

Falcon must have had a hell of an over run as it seems everyone is selling these blanks.

I didn't see where he said these were Falcon blanks. However, Falcon is picking up the whole operation and taking it to Taiwan. Closing the Canada factory.

Someone else listed them in the "for sale" section yesterday and advertised them as such seconds, then came back and revised the listing saying there were some type of legal implications and that they were no longer for sale. Now, this same person has them listed for sale again, but no mention of their origin. It's pretty obvious what cue line the full-splice butts are from, but the others aren't as obvious.

The butts I have are not seconds.

It's back in there again, seems as if the issue was more in the advertisement of them, and how they are to be used. Greg
