Butt for the new Mezz PB Pro Break Shaft

Are there any reputable cue builders out there that have the proper
set up to build a butt section for the Mezz PB Pro Break Shaft.
 
You can have one made with a normal 5/16x14 pin and it will fit that shaft.

Joint size is 0.845"d. Shaft has a pilot measuring 0.160"h x 0.475"d.

Not sure if this correct.... I have the PB and PB II in stock but non of them fits on a stock 5/16x14 cue (Schon).
It might be that you have a US version without the stock Mezz joint...
 
Fits well on a Joss(PB, PBII and PBpro), which my buddy Troyroy78 uses. I have no problems fitting a United Joint shaft with any standard 5/16x14 butt(I usually try the Joint Protectors first). The issue is always with the insert/pilot all the time. Only one case wherein the 5/16x14 pin was just too long that it hit the top of the shaft's hole.

Check the insert/pilot, that might be where the issue is.

Schons pilot is slightly smaller in diameter I think. The pins are the same but just the insert diameter. Take it to a cue repair guy it's a quick fix

i sold a mezz alpha shaft on here not too long ago. before i sold it i made sure it fit on a schon. i think blowfish is right on the money on this one
 
guys i dont think he's talking about a regular mezz shaft. stuff like the hp2 wd700 etc. come with united joints that fit 5/16x14 cues but he's asking about the new break shaft. to my knowledge the break cue has a different joint so the insert for the break shaft is not a 5/16x14 thread. i could be wrong but i remember looking at klatt's breaker when he let me use it and i remember it being a different type of joint.

It's the same Bro... PB, PBII and PB Pro. As we have all them shafts. :)

I can have a look again, but all are United Joint.


PS: Dual Force is a different story.
 
Thank You for the info! I see that the joint size is .845....what is the joint size of a Joss
and I believe Falcon also uses the same joint am I correct...if so do you know that joint size? the falcon butt would be a little more affordable
