Butt "slickering". What product?

I've got several bottles of Cue Slick, Slip Stic, Cue Silk, etc and don't use any of them on shafts anymore but...

I use nowrap cues and like a real slick handle so I was wondering if I could use these products on the handle(s).

I've been using Karseal, or automotive wax and, at times, a gloss enhancer or quick detailer with a wax like product in it.

Anybody know of any reason why these shaft "slickering" products would cause a problem being used on the clear coated butt handles?

Thanks, JIm

Okay Jim, let me get this straight...you want to know about butt slickering but you take issue with my avatar? HUH? ;)

If you use the 3 inch wide duct tape and place it snugly as demonstrated by "Slim" in my avatar--then rip it off starting from top to bottom---your butt will be slicker n' snot! Go ahead and give it a try real quick---we'll wait right here, alright? :D :D :D

My cuemaker

told me to use nothing, but a 'wood polisher' on my cue stick. No waxes, oils, or anything like that.

On my shaft after cleaning it, I use 'Pledge', since it is a polisher.

Astroglide works pretty good, but you might need to reapply after a long session. :D

Butt slickering.

Just do like I do....
Spit on your hand and rub it up and down your shaft.
