Butterfly cases

I have a 4x8 butterfly (Porper) that I've used the last 12 years. I love it as it holds my cues and gizmos (telescopic bridge, Longoni extension) with unmatched ease of use. I have had several other style cases including higher end. Nothing is better or more practical for me at any price for local use.
 
Our butterfly cases can be used just like a drop-in case. I solved the issues of flaps and floppy cases.

We use three layers of stiff fiberboard covered with six layers of foam rubber to shield the cues. Each sleeve is also fully padded. The result is that the case can stand up and won't buckle.

Let me start by saying that I love my JB Ultimate Rugged. I wouldn't pack my cues in anything else to fly. It's a 2X3 and that's really all anyone needs, so everyone should learn to jump with a full cue. At home I may use a couple of different cases and I have found that at some point it was pretty likely that John Barton had some input on the design if not having designed the case itself. JB, I appreciate you and all you do...
with that being said, I'm sure I speak for quite a few of us here when I say, John, please don't rap anymore

Yo, I can't promise to not listen to the muse when she seeks to amuse and abuse your ears in the fear that some poetic license will expire between my ears unheard by the people buried deeper in my subconscious like a CTE shot not taken because of the hatin'.

I have this in cordura. It is great case. The quality and price are right in bounds.

I just got a 2/5 ultimate rugged. Also just got a Jay Flowers. I really like the looks of the JB
4x8 Butterflies. When I see one on the JB cases For Sale I might jump on it. My only criticism(rather a personal comment) is the pockets could be a little deeper. I have a thick eyeglass case to keep in there.

We routinely make pockets larger on request. We have made them up to 3" high which is pretty big.

The reason I don't do them higher and longer by default is that the size we settled on seems to be right for the vast majority of users balancing utility and design.

Just tell us what you want and I will be happy to build it.

I like butterfly cases very much.
Never noticed it to be problematic moving from table to table.
Just open up the zipper on one side and stick your cues down there.
I love how much stuff I can take with me. Most of my pool accessories all in one case with plenty of room to spare.
 
By the way who is that case maker that imports all that Vietnamese, or something similar, labor to actually make the cases?
And they all put their names on the cases that THEY make?
Honestly, I just heard about this but don't know which one that is.
No insult intended, or argument, just wanted to know where not to get my next case.

By the way on top of the butterfly above I also have an original Instroke and LOVE it.

Imports labor to where?
