butterfly conversion

I purchased this cue a while back and was wondering if it was good for conversion. the cue is short (47 1/2') but I want a wrap anyways. From the butt end to the end of the butterfly is 18" cue isn't very straight but I like the veneers a lot. How much does it cost for a project like this? I tried posting this in the main forum but didn't get much info..

Measure the diameter 29" up from the butt. You need it thicker than .840"

Here's a couple I have. They can be converted successfully if the person knows what they're doing. In most cases, you're going to have a non-standard joint dimension, thinner then what is normal.

A nice conversion can be done with some crafty work! This cue is not a cut in the middle and stick a pin in it type of restoration.
