How about this one... not mine but it has purpleheart

A strikingly unusual design with a South American Rosewood forearm and butt sleeve and a Tiger Maple handle. The "V" joint at the forearm and handle area is celebrated with five veneers of contrasting colors. The butt sleeve is attached with a wide Saturn ring of Bloodwood and veneers. Three Purple Heart butterfly points, with four veneers, adorn the butt sleeve. The joint collar and butt cap are separated by a Corian ring of appropriate colors. ;)

very nice. always liked birdsye grips. how does the varnish wear?

thanks monski!
I liked that cue. It was a good combination of woods. Do you by anychance, have a pic of something with more purpleheart?

As far as stability, if Marcus' Tascarella (well over 80 years old) is still solid, I could safely say that with the newer adhesives a current b/f splice should be able to handle a few gazillion games of pool.

Joe

Well, I can verify that mine is solid and plays like a tank. If I didn't play in bars that would be my playing cue.

move back to top.....

Anyone wondering how Jimbo voted ???? Roscoe ???? I'm betting IHO, Paul's fancy butterfly pointed cues should probably be outlawed since they are a copy of a Brunswick Model 36/360..... Just a joke there big guy....

What do you think, Jeff ? BTW, how do you like them ?

personally, i always thought they were for girls[/color]

though i gotta admit - i like the ~firefly~

I have been a fan of the butterfly points for some time now. I recently placed an order for a special Fanelli. I am looking forward to this cue more than any that I have ever ordered.
The firefly is surely a sweet looking cue! I must agree.
I am definitely no girly man but I do favor the butterfly cues myself.
