How do you install butterfly points? It looks like you just cut an angle out of the butt and then layer your veneers or wood on top of the notch. Then sand it down and clear coat it. I have no idea but it looks like that is how it is done. Please try to explain it to me as simple as possible.

i dont have any pictures of this after it was cut again to add the second set
