buying new pocket liners for a Gold Crown III

Pocket liner difference

I am looking to replace my liners as well. The recessed screw hole keeps coming unglued on a few of my pockets. The pocket liners on my Gold Crown III just seem cheap. Of the choices on the two websites, which is the best, what is the difference between the $65 set and the $120 set right below it on the 2nd website. Is the $65 set on the second website the same as the set from muellers, part # 37-300?

Muellers # 37-300 = $41.70
Classic Billiards # Bosse/Pocket = $65
Classic Billiards # BR/Bosse = $120

Difference?

GC pockets

Who of you fine mechanics out there can tell me the easiest way to mark & trim the excess plastic to fit the cushion/facing area?
Thanks

I'm not a mechanic, but I trimmed my plastic pockets by initiating the cut through the thick lip with a pair of wire cutters, and finishing it off using a good pair of Fiskar's scissors (cheap scissors unlikely to work).

Hacksaw, dremmel tool with cutting wheel would likely also work.

Classic Billiards # BR/Bosse = $120 are real BRUNSWICK pockets. The other models are 'knock offs' for less money but work the same as well.

Take your pocket and insert it thru the bottom and pull it thru to the top, press it tightly against the back of the pocket and spread the pocket wide and mark it with a sharpe exactly where you want to cut it, then take a pair of medium sized tin snips and cut from the bottom straight up to your mark,re-fit and attach. Easy and safe.
