Buying orSelling a cue w/o using Pay-Pal

Seller sends the cue then Buyer pays

Hey Rasta, you're an up and up buyer... just ask the Seller to send the cue to you first, then once you receive the cue, you'll send the payment money order or even Western Union (WU kinda expensive though). If the Seller is willing, then the deal should work out. --Paul.

Find an AZer to be a 3rd party on the deal. You both send the items to the 3rd party who will then ship them respectively.

Hope this helps :)

IMO this is the best way also, I would have done a deal here last month and I also thought of this as being a safe way but I didn't think the seller would go for it so I just past on the buy

I just passed on the sale. The seller would make no effort to alleviate my concerns, and my money is too hard to came by to just give away. If I'm wrong, someone else will get a great deal. Either way, my money's safe!

Thanks, everybody.

Good Rolls,

you need to find out the sellers az reputation. i always tell the buyer if they have any doubt, post a thread asking for those who have dealt with me their opinion. pay pal is usually a fater way to get your money, negotiat the 3% if need be. bank check, money order or postal money order. when ever i recieve a money order ,i have my credit union verify the money order is good and then ship cue, that way i don't have to wait for it to clear. you could also use an escrow service like profecient if every one is that nervous. jmo

Buck is exactly right. While I have never had a bad deal on ebay, I hear more about them.

My next high dollar cue on ebay I will use escrow or not do the deal.

I worry less and less with high number of feedbacks too.

Ken
