I'm interested in reviews opinions and experiences of purchasing pool equipment. Both brick and mortar storefronts as well as online shops. I've had a few negative experiences, but will wait to see if they "make it right" before I say anything negative.

I was actually thinking there should be a sub-section in the "Products Talk" section for reviews.

Also a question: Is it acceptable to post negative reviews provided there are no direct insults to individuals?

i have made multiple purchases from the online site PoolDawg and have had zero problems.
Posting negative reviews helps everyone.
Go for it.

I would add Nielsen's Billiards (Springfield, IL). They have an auction site store. Seller is joerackem. Awesome service.

+ 1 for Nielsen's. ie: Joerackem on the Bay. Excellent folks, product and service.

Have a good day,

-Kat,

OK - I still have a couple outstanding items, so I'll post about them probably by the end of the week.

billiards.com ... very nice folks and I'm happy with dealing with them. I screwed up a few things and they were very friendly and help me cancel and/or fix my own mistakes.

Actually - in general, I think almost all the folks I've dealt with were friendly enough.

Another GREAT person I dealt with for many years was Jimmy Marino. I'm sure he's missed by many.

On ebay I've dealt with Billiards Heaven and been completely satisfied.

I have not dealt with Pool Dawg yet, but likely will in the future.

Thank you all for your input.

Seyberts, Mullers, Pool Dawg, Indy Q Shop, Billiard Warrhouse, all good.

Today it's the only way to buy pool supplies including cues.

Seyberts, Dawg, Ozone, Billiards Warehouse, J&J American and here on AZ, Kloop for my Frey cues. Always happy, never screwed.

Manningcues.com

I think it's the best place going right now for products and service

I apologize but I do not agree at all with that. I have a local billiards store that is also a custom cue maker that I try to buy everything from. I know that I pay a little more but it is worth it to me to have a place where I can actually put my hands on something before I decide to buy.
