I am looking for first hand information on this cuemaker and his work. Google comes up pretty empty and I cannot find any references to his work here.

I came across one of his cues and by appearances it seems to be good quality work.

Thanks!

Located in Fort Wayne, IN. He makes very beautiful and great playing cues. You will probably be waiting a year or more. Very knowledgeable, amazing player, and takes huge pride in his work. My personal go-to for all cue maintenance. I refer him to as many people as I can.

You can reach him at https://www.facebook.com/carl.dagostino.II

Thank you so much for posting this, and so quickly too!

By all accounts his work is excellent, my only concern is why he is such an unknown? It seems to be a shame from what I have seen of his work.

I know this is all very subjective but since I am considering purchasing a cue that I wont be able to test hit beforehand, would you be able to describe the type of hit?

Carl makes a nice cue. See them up in fort wayne fairly open, and he is well respected among the players there. He also seems to be a really good guy.

As someone who isn't on social media, couldn't tell ya why. He does collaborate and communicate with other well known cuemakers quite often so not like he isn't THAT unknown. Just not as widespread as others.

I have no idea how to describe the hit of any cue, let alone his. I've hit with his personal cue (naturally, he uses his own) and it's pretty much the same as any other solid shaft. I believe he can use any pin you want. You definitely wouldn't regret it and if you have a problem, he's got amazing customer service.
