Here is the Cadillac Island Casino's (Longview, WA) website. I went on there today and saw it was updated with photos of past tourneys including our own Queen Linda and Mikey Z., Nick Varner giving an exhibition along with a bunch of other random shots including J.D. and Stan T.

Just thought I'd share. Open 8ball tourney this weekend 64 entires max. At 47 as of now when I signed up.

That is a horrible looking website! I wish people would invest as much time in money with their "online representation" as they do with their physical business.

Sorry to rant, a pet peeve of mine from a web designers aspect.


If it was closer, I would certainly check it out...

Yeah I know what you mean, it is pretty bad. There have been several times when i have offered up my brothers services to websites I frequent for help with their design. Like Pete Ohman of Omen Cues. Another bad website. Lots a nice cues and pics of them and a bad layout and not finished.

Thanks for posting the website. I have a lot of good memories from there. Mike won their very first tournament. For the first 3 or 4 tournaments, they blew up the top 3 players' pictures and put them on the wall. Then they gave up. I think they had too many and not enough wall space!

I'm still undecided whether I am going or not, but leaning toward probably. :rolleyes:

Whatever! Maybe if we played rotation, with all 15 balls, lol. Anyway, I think it is going to be the other way around!

Are you going to be there and are you considered a B player still by them?

Atwell just called and said we could crash at his place, so it is looking more likely. I have been playing so badly the last month or so that I really didn't want to waste the weekend.

I hope to meet you and Micah if I go.

Yeah I will be there and no I am not still considered a B player. I think the last Masters win sealed my non-B fate.

Yeah they are good tourneys with some very strong players. I need to get out and play a whole heck of a lot more leading up to BCA and ACS. So I am going to go to the warmup Friday night and then the tourney this weekend.

Linda, it will be nice to finally (formally) meet and speak with you. I'll be the guy on the Gold Crown askin' for people to play in a ring game.
