I currently have a 5x10 Brunswick Gold Crown II billiard table. I have the opportunity to get a 3 1/2 x 7 Valley bar box.

I have room for both but not simultaneously. So I want to put casters/wheels with brakes on both so I can roll one against the wall while playing on the other.

I envision marking the floor so the tables will set in the exact spot each time to maintain it's levelness.

The floor is cement slab semi-smooth (garage).

Has anyone had success with this?

How would one do this successfully?

Will the rolling back and forth jepordize the slate seams on the 5x10?

Are there certain wheels made to perform this task?

Thanks in advance.

In theory, It is possible that you could do this. But in all practicality and for optimum playability, there's no way you'll get the table back perfectly level. The Valley bar box would be pretty easy to set back and relevel. I just think your asking for trouble with the gold crown. It's a beefy table and all but was not meant to be sitting on casters and moved around. If there is incosistency in the floor while moving, the frame could twist ever so slightly and eventually pop the seams, drop a shim, something to where the table will play like crap. JMO :)

Also, any casters beefy enough to hold a 5x10 table are going to raise the play height substantially. You may not like that either.

tables

Remember that the Gold crown is a three piece slate and the Valley is one. It would be fine for the Valley.
