Nice offering. I was told that these originally sold for $ 300 out of a Billiards
magazine years ago. Good luck with the sale.

How is it compared to the Willard Tipping Machine ??

Also, does it come with the plastic sleeves that are suppose to be used on the shafts ????

Can you explain what these things do please?

They are a smaller, more compact version of the Willards. After using a razor
blade to cut off a tip, this gadget will sand the top of the ferrule square to the
shaft. When you use the proper rubber/plastic sleeve/sleeves, it will also center
a tip over that shaft when gluing it on. It will also shave the excess sides of the
tip even with the side of the ferrule. This part needs some practice though. All in
all, its a really nice unit. I'd still have mine if there were any players that needed
tips. My cuemaker buddy does mine for a helluva price, so it wasn't worth it to
me to keep mine. In my opinion, other than the shaving of the sides, this unit
does just as good a job as a Willards, for a lot less. Oh, it's also alot smaller.
