I wanted to thank all of the players that showed up for the Chet Itow Memorial Tournament.

We had a total of 64 players for the Friday night warm up, and an amazing 153 players for the main event.

1st place was Max Eberle and runner up was Gilbert Arellano. The total prize fund was a whopping $13,650.00.

The final 8 players all went case game which started roughly at 10pm and the final was finished at 5am.

I wanted to also thank Max and all the players from Nevada, Southern Cal, Oregon and the Valley.

This will be an annual event and hope next year, Corey (if you’re reading this) and any and all players that couldn’t make it this year can make the trip next year.

I also wanted to thank all of are sponsors that made this event possible. Especially Pete Tonkin for donating a custom cue for auction that was worth $1200.00. This was a big hit with the players and hope to do it again in the future.

California Billiard Club will be running many more tournaments in the future so players keep your eyes and ears open.

Thanks to everyone.

Chris,

It was very cool of you to put this event on. Chet was a good guy.

Thanks for showing your support to his memory & pool competition on the west coast! You have a great room (with great staff) up there! Something to be proud of!

Sincerely,

Corey

great event

This was a great event, and the staff at CBC made it even better than expected. These guys bent over backwards and worked from 9 AM til way past midnight to make sure everything was right. Even on 30 tables, running 150+ players through a double elimination means a lot of stuff has to happen the right way. The facility is one of the best, there's inexpensive hotels right next door, good food, and lots of great action all the time. What a great way to honor a great man. Thanks to everyone for all the hard work.

Tony took the bracket sheets to make copies. As soon as I get them Back I will post the results here and on our web site. wwwcaliforniabilliardclub.com. Thanks

Thanks Corey! We are working hard to promote pool the right way and to take care of our Tourn. players. Hope to see you again in the future.
