I wanted to thank all of the players that showed up for the Chet Itow Memorial Tournament.
We had a total of 64 players for the Friday night warm up, and an amazing 153 players for the main event.
1st place was Max Eberle and runner up was Gilbert Arellano. The total prize fund was a whopping $13,650.00.
The final 8 players all went case game which started roughly at 10pm and the final was finished at 5am.
I wanted to also thank Max and all the players from Nevada, Southern Cal, Oregon and the Valley.
This will be an annual event and hope next year, Corey (if you’re reading this) and any and all players that couldn’t make it this year can make the trip next year.
I also wanted to thank all of are sponsors that made this event possible. Especially Pete Tonkin for donating a custom cue for auction that was worth $1200.00. This was a big hit with the players and hope to do it again in the future.
California Billiard Club will be running many more tournaments in the future so players keep your eyes and ears open.
Thanks to everyone.
