Call me crazy but I just got a text pic of a cue I was trying to buy off of a guy on Craigs List and the guy put the cue on the sidewalk out side of his house to take the pics. Am I being to picky or an out right jerk cause I just want to slapp him, Im waiting to reply cause I dont want to come unglued on him but WTF, its a $500 Joss on a dirty sidewalk. Should I even go see the thing Its an hour away and I dont want to waist my time. an of course its like new condition and hardly ever shot with and bla bla bla. I know not everyone loves pool like me but I would never let a cue just sit on a concrete sidewalk. If you want a laugh IM me your cell ill fwd you the pics.(girlfriend swears she can see dog poop in lawn next to cue)


update: guy lowered price to $225 form $500. after I questioned hm about the sidwalk "He said relax man i just need drinking money and its my roomates cue and he ows me sum money" I just said thanks but no thaks.
 
i was being sarcastic. but i saw the pics, the guy selling them has know clue what he is selling. offer a 100$ and see if he bites.
 
When selling, I make sure I get a verbal agreement from the person prior to them arriving. In this case, you're buying. Bring less cash than what you guys are negotiating, pull out how much you plan on buying it for (let him see it) and tell him that you'll take it, but that's all the cash you have.

Money talks and with these dudes having obvious addictions, i'd be surprised if they didn't take it.

BTW, it would definitely pinch my nerves to buy a cue from someone who puts them on dirty sidewalks. But if you get a $500 Joss for a little more than $100, do it.

Sounds like a great guy selling the cue. Just like a couple of scumbags I've known in the past. I'd stay far away from this and I don't care if I could get a great deal on the cue. I feel really sorry for his roommate.
