Calling All Junior Players (Especially the Girls!)

With less than two months until the 25th Annual Junior National 9-Ball Championships, we still have spots available, particularly in the girls divisions.

If you know of any young girls who enjoy playing pool and would like a chance to compete against other young ladies across the country, please contact us to nominate them. Limited sponsorship opportunities are available to those who need it.

The BEF Junior National 9-Ball Championships is the only junior event in the U.S. that qualifies young players to compete at the WPA (World Pool-Billiard Association) World Junior 9-Ball Championships.

17 is a bit close for this, the limit is 18 and she would have to play in a qualifier or get an invitation. You should find a local youth league, depending on the area you may have one, one of the kids that plays in the league my son is in drives in from New Jersey to middle of MA because we have the closest youth league. He just turned 13 and came in second to my son in the state championship.

You can get free coaching and some good cheap preactice during league times, the cost of our league is $6 and they play for several hours and can stay and practice/socialize afterwards for a bit. Plus you would have the qualifier tournaments, Jr State Championships, fundraiser tournaments, great for the kids overall. I think better than many organized team sports where the kids don't want anyone not good playing with them and the coaches and parents try to kick kids off teams unless they are top players.

I would encourage ALL interested junior (and their parents) to follow up opn this.

The National 9-Ball Championships will be held along side the pro events in Vegas this year.

Refs and much more.

In fact, all amateurs at our Nationals will be treated to FREE group lessons from the likes of Shane Van Boening, Mika Immonen, and a few more. Juniors are included!

They will be available at various times and days.
Also remember, anyone can play int he min tournaments with a membership card and $25 in green fees - good for 10 days!!!.
