I believe that the rules that we play, VNEA state that you have to ask your opponent if you can go to the bath room. They can say yes or no.
Never run into it where someone would say no. I don't necessarily think it was a Shark move but I wasn't there.
You could have said, go ahead and I will start or wait until I am done shooting and take a break on your time, not mine.
That seems fair.
I was playing in an end of the year Scotch Tourney and asked my opponents if I could go to the wash room. She said ok, you have one minute, which I believe that is the proper time limit for a wash room time out. She was a stickler and probably would have taken a BIH if I were more than a minute.
Half time after 6 games, they decided to take an impromptu smoke break.
They already had their coats on before informing me.
She said, "smoke break".
I said, "no problem, you have one minute".
Are you serious.
I said, "yes, very much".
And that my Friends is one of the reasons that I am a member of the newly formed D Bag Club.
