Calling out Brady Behrman

Well I really didn't want to air dirty laundry on a message board but I haven't figured out how else to go about this. I spoke with Mike Howerton (azhousepro) about my intentions to post this and he had no problems so here goes.

Two years ago Brady, you created Fantasy9Ball.com. Initially it was free to play with no prizes ( bragging rights ). Shortly after a few of these events you began charging money and promising prizes. The Grand Prize is a 9 foot Diamond Pool Table which I was the frontrunner. Yes, this pisses me off, but not more than all the prizes, after each event, people were not given. Runner-up prize is a $2300 Runde cue from billiardcue.com

The fact you collected money and then reneged is not what really bothers me. What really bothers me is the fact that you obviously just think this is going to go away because I have had several emails go unanswered, all of which I have been more kind than is deserved.

You know what Brady; if the whole thing fell through, which happens in business, the least you could have done is come out publicly and let all your paying customers know. You have all of our emails so there is absolutely no excuse.

I would also like to know where the money is that each member sent you. Please tell me you didn't use it for personal expenses while you sat and watched the ship sink along with the prizes we were promised. This is the last piece of correspondence you will receive from ME but I promise you, unless you come out with some kind of public explanation, this will not be the last you hear on this matter.

To any Fantasy members who may read this, if you would like to be kept apprised of this situation please PM me your Username from Fantasy9Ball along with your email.

To the members of azbilliards that this does not concern, I apologize for using our bandwidth for this but I've had enough.
Thank you Mike for your blessing and I wanted you to know that I would never post something like this without seeking permission from you first.

Regards,
Dave

I spoke with Mike about this and do agree with you David.

Fantasy9Ball did not work out the way we had intended. I have the complete list of Fantasy9Ball players who paid. I also have the list of players that did and did not receive prizes. All of which will be receiving a personal email very soon asking to fill out a web form verifying proper mailing addresses. I will be refunding each player that deserves. People that did receive prizes or some of their prizes from sponsors will be refunded partially. Players who did not receive any prizes will be fully refunded the amounts they paid which were 5.00, 15.00 or 50.00.

For those of you who do not know what Fantasy9Ball was;

Fantasy9Ball was an online Fantasy Site that allowed you the fans to pick players that were playing in real events. Based on how your players ended up you were awarded prizes. 90% of the prizes were shipped direct from the sponsors of the site. Fantasy9Ball was intended to be an avenue where fans could follow events. People won and MANY received prizes such as Joss Cues, Sigel Cues, Sardo Racks, Talisman Tips and Cases, Tip Tools, etc. All of which were donated as sponsor packages.

Fantasy9Ball.com brought in around $2,300.00. Fantasy9Ball had many expenses as you could imagine (Design, Maintenance, Shipping, etc.). There was no money to speak of being made here as this was not the honest intention of this site. We wanted to help pool by allowing users to become more involved with the sport. Pool is one of the hardest sports to promote or gain real attraction. Fantasy9ball didn’t work out as MANY New Promoters of events find out, It’s hard to promote pool in any aspect. Pool just doesn’t seem to be one of those sports that draws a large audience as compared to others.

I appreciate all of the sponsors efforts and fans who participated. My deepest apologies to everyone that Fantasy9Ball did not work out. I pulled the plug. I take the full blame.

Respectfully,
Brady Behrman

Thank you Brady. It's not what I was hoping for but I sincerely appreciate the response.

Regards,
Dave

This was in the works as per a conversation I Had with Mike Howerton last week. I am sorry for everything and If I can ever help you in any way, let me know.

Brady,

I honestly don't know what you think you could help with. I was seriously considering legal action but the time and money involved, coupled with what I would have to gain was enough of a deterrent. The most I can do now is alert others of your business practices and the way in which you deal with problems in your business; by ignoring them. Funny how you ignored almost all of my emails for over a year but when I finally go public you are here, replying within a half hour. I call that transparent at best.

If any of the sponsors are reading this, I know from emails of fantasy9ball members that there are a lot of unhappy customers out there. I don't know who the blame lands on but this was one huge debaucle, with great prizes promised and nothing to show for it. Anyone reading, imagine being in first place with a 9 foot Diamond table staring at you only to have the whole thing go up in flames with no explanation.

Brady, we can go back and forth here but what's the use. All you had to do was confront the issue but instead you chose to look the other way in hopes we would just forget about it. I respect the fact you came on here but that is the extent of my respect for you and your business dealings. You have my email if you ever want to take this off-line.

Hi Brady,
In the past I never got involved in these matters.I can`t resist and will say that he is not the one that needs help in this matter. You are the one who needs lots of help.

To bad the website doesn't exist anymore. Maybe Sterling and Mr. Taylor could have bought that too.

Railbird

Is it for sale? Does it have less than 500 disgruntled customers? Do they owe us money?

:-))

DD....did you read the fine print regarding the prizes? In addition to it being called Fantasy9Ball, they were also Fantasy prizes. If you DID win the prize, you could redeem it for cash.....V-cash. (not meaning to aggravate you more)

I find it rather amusing that your avatar promotes affordable website development, then claim one of the reasons for failure was the expenses of design ...

Why am I getting the distinct feeling that Mike doesn't want committeemember posting on here? And LS77, this may be the one you're looking for under another name.

Hey DM,

Can't believe I missed this one. I don't think I could get any more aggravated than I already am. At least if I got some V-cash I'd something to show for it.

Brady,

Dave made a very valid point and I'm wondering if you would like to answer; as to how it is you create websites and host them but make a statement saying that you incurred costs in development and hosting. I don't get it! I'm at a loss seeing where you had any money going out. Please enlighten me.

Fantasy9ball was built before I knew much about was involved in a site of that magnitude. I started building websites probally 8 months or Year after we started Fantasy9Ball at which Mike Howerton can attest. Feal free to call ANY of my clients and ask them about my work and work ethics. I have over 100 clients that will I am sure be glad to tell you about my work. It doesnt really matter, Fantasy9Ball unfortunately did not work out due to several circumstances and once again I applogize.

Thankfully,
Brady

Sometimes things just don't go as planned in business and you can't please or make good to everyone.

So...are you at least going to follow through with the Diamond table to DD?
