Calm Before the Storm in Louisville!

They're starting to arrive in Louisville at the Executive West Hotel, the eve of the 2006 Derby City Classic. The tables are all set up and ready for action and topnotch competition.

Just got a call from the California Young Gun Amar Kang who is there with his cousin Tony "T-Rex" Chohan, both looking around for some familiar faces.

Folks will be arriving tonight, and it will be pure pool bliss 24/7. Hope you AzB-ers who are in attendance will provide some updates for us inquiring minds back home!

Hey, Frankie Baby, you put a smile on my face! Good to see you making the trip with Josh. Are you all driving or flying?

There's a gambling riverboat about a 20-minute shuttle drive from the Executive West Hotel, but I'm not sure if there's any crap tables. Some poker tables, though, for sure!

Man, you guys are going to have such a GREAT time! I can't wait to hear all about it! Give us a jingle when time allows!

For sure, Samiel! Things are REALLY hopping here in D.C. with Congress coming back from the holiday break, i.e., nomination hearings. Gotta make hay when the sun's a shining!

Team McCready functions a little better when all parties are present.

It just wasn't in the cards this year for either of us to go. I am looking forward to the day when Keith can make the trek and is given the opportunity to participate in ALL OF THE ACTIVITIES with his peers. The Derby City Classic is kind of like a pool mecca. People come from far and near, and there's a little bit of something for everybody. I can't wait to read the updates!

that has to be the funniest picture of Keith i have EVER SEEN.... i am going to be at next years DCC hopefully... my buisness is really starting to boom right now and i have not been able to breath for about the last 2 months (workload is huge). but things are starting to come together for me and i should be able to make the trip next year... but i am waiting unpatiently for all the action updates so those of you who have the chance to make it... dont be stengy and not post what you see... hope to see everyone there next year....
