Camera angle suggestions for InsidePOOL and others.

I have some constructive criticism for the streamers out there...

The InsidePOOL stream today has two camera angles. Both are long ways on the table, but from opposite ends.

The people in charge are switching between the angles while the balls are moving. This is NO GOOD:

1. The second angle really doesn't show any different information than the first angle.... why even switch to it?

2. Switching between the angles mid shot does nothing but confuse the viewer. Everything becomes upside down mid shot.

I have seen this on other streams in the past as well. Not sure if it was InsidePOOL or someone else. Please consider these suggestions all streamers.

Thanks.

I do not have that problem, I just use 1 camera squared up with the table which has been working for me. I got a new camera so I might do a 2nd angle which might be good just to break up the single angle putting people to sleep but to be honest I am unsure people really care too much, they just want to watch pool.

I think for 95% of the shots, a single fixed camera is best. With the latest technology, its easy for the pros to have multiple cameras, and switch between them. However, after watching tons of early accustats, to the latest acccustats, to the new generation of internet streamers, I really don't see much of an advantage to watching pool with the multiple cameras. I even believe they can be a disadvantage, if used improperly, as I wrote in my first post.

I have been using 2 angles for quite some time.

I use one squared up straight and one from a 45 degree angle on the other end.I did this to switch shots when the player is in the way of the shot (which happens a lot with one camera).

I noticed recently at the Mizerak that Fox Sports and also ESPN mostly use multiple angles from the same end. I have been trying that lately. Much easier setup and seems to work fine.

Viewer input is #1 for me.
