I'm aware this isn't really billiards related, unless you take into account the possibility of it allowing you to take awesome photos of your cues for sale...OR the fact that I might possibly be willing to trade it for a plain jane cue. I'm not sure if I want wrap-less or wrapped so either I guess! DZ plain jane cues are definitely considered! I'd prefer it to be around 19oz with a 3/8x10 (old style) pin so my current shafts would fit! Any woods would do, but I prefer birdseye maple! If I find anyone interested in just buying this, it's a Nikon D70 and I'm looking for $425 with this 18-55mm AF-S lens in good shape. There is plenty of life left in this camera and everything works, there are NO issues I've found. It will come with (2) CF memory cards. (1) 512mb and (1) 1 gig. It comes with the neck strap, hot-shoe cover, body cap, magic lantern D70 guide, and 'cheat sheet' I bought on Ebay for this camera. You could carry around the book, but the 'cheat sheet' would be sooo much easier to carry as a reference guide if you're unsure of how to do something. I also have a 50mm 1.8 lens I'd swap out for the 18-55mm for another $25 if it would be better for you. The 50mm is a much better lens in lower lighting! Contact me with any questions, Jeff

I hear ya. I was thinking of posting some gaming systems I don't play anymore for cash on here so I can maybe buy a wrapless cue, but I didn't want to break the rules or get chastised lol. Nice camera, I am sure someone out there could use one to take some nice pictures of cues. Good luck with the sale!

If your posting to trade its all good, post away buddy.

I just bought a d80 on craigslist. I would have jumped on this for a trade. Does great job for photographs of cues. Viewing azb for sale section a lot of people sure could use this camera.
Good luck with sale!

I hear ya! Thanks for the kind words but just having one of these doesn't make you take good pics, you still have to know how to do it! I have much info included in this deal so it's not gonna be hard for someone to learn what to do and when to do it. I had other offers before so maybe them people will chime in again? I know Waldo's offered me a purpleheart DZ I had owned previously before, and I'd said no before, but now I might reconsider if offered again. I'm looking mainly for DZ cues cause' I'm used-to them and how they play, but would consider anything custom...Maybe even an older Schon or Joss. Keep the offers coming guys but I'd rather they be posted in my thread, not by PM please. Thanks, Jeff

details

I forgot to mention that this camera has 2 batteries also. (1) Nikon and (1) off-brand that works well in it! If the 18-55mm lens is wanted, I will include a UV filter to protect the glass. Thanks for looking, Jeff

Nice camera. I shoot with a Nikon as well. If you learn how to use the camera, you can easily shoot professional quality pics.

D40

Nice camera. I shoot with a Nikon as well. If you learn how to use the camera, you can easily shoot professional quality pics.

Yes, I agree. I USE a Nikon D40 as my MAIN camera. I have a battery grip for it, which I can't find for the D70 anymore :frown:, which is a main reason I wanna keep that one! This and the fact that I bought my D40 brand new, I bought the D70 used but in good shape so I got it. I'm considering going back to playing pool as I do it better than finding things to take photos of. There aren't many items here of interest to me, so...And I don't wanna move away so I'm knocking my cameras back to one by selling the D70. I know it will sell, it's far from being in bad shape! I'm just looking for the proper trade and it will be a go. As I mentioned guys, I'm interested mostly in DZ merry widow cues but may consider something else. I've had alot of offers - Some bad, some good, and some just confusing. I know it will all work out in the end though so I'm keeping it afloat! lol Keep em' coming guys! Thanks, Jeff

offers!

For those who have asked, I'm going to stay away from sneaky-pete cues for now. I have 2 already, and just want a plain jane cue with nice woods. Leather wrapped would be nice, but not necessary. Those who have PM'd me offers please don't give up...Duc, I looked at your offers sir and don't know what you have in this price range. I'd like a more specific offer please  I hate to keep bumping this to the front, so someone needs to offer me a trade I can't refuse. Have I said it don't have to be a cue? It could possibly be a case if it strikes me! Well, I'm going to stop cause' it now sounds like I'm desperate to trade it and I'm not. I just no longer need this body!!

weekend bump

Friday night bump...Keep the offers coming guys, some have been close to being taken! For those interested in knowing what I'm looking for, it would be a plain jane cue wrapped or unwrapped by: Bob DZ, Steve Kornele, Coker, Schon, Joss, I'd even consider a Dale Perry, Cory Barnhart, Josey, Jensen, Mali + cash, etc. etc. The options are really well open, I just wanna see whats out there to get me back into playing. It might as well go to someone who will use it as it probably will sit in my case for a while. I prefer my D40 due to its accessories. Thanks again, Jeff Duke

those who asked

I'm going to change this a little for those of you who have asked me. I was originally looking for just a plain cue, but I'm open to whatever. I was just trying to keep the price simple for a simple cue, but I've been asked if simple cues are all I'd accept. The answer is no. I'm willing to accept any cue, custom or production, up to a $500ish range for this fine camera. I guess I should have specified before but I'm willing to let go of this D70 body, operation references, 18-55mm lens w/ UV filter, AND 50mm 1.8 lens in a package deal for a $500ish cue or nice case within the US. Elsewhere the shipping will need to be paid for by you. Lets see what kind of offers you come up with now, shall we? lol Thanks guys for all the interest, Jeff

p.s. These are MY pics of it, and yes I can have more of specific areas if necessary. NOT A PROBLEM! I was asked if these were my pics and if this was the camera for trade...my answer is yes!

traded

This camera has been accepted in a trade agreement with a good photographer. You will all undoubtedly see its photos eventually. Thank you sir, and I can't wait to receive that cue you offered me. I'm hoping its what it looks like...NICE! They have a good review that I saw on here so I'm hopeful!
