Can any resourceful cuemaker match any collar?

I am working on purchasing a cue from a fellow AZer. If all goes well I want to have the collar matched with a OB-2. I am not sure of the material. I know a lot of the rest of the cue has Elk antler. See picture below. Please PM if this is work you can do. And what will it cost, either with me purchasing a blank OB-2 or you supplying it.

The answer is yes although sometime you run into some odd ball materials that may be hard to match. Technically though it is no problem.

Thanks. So are you someone that would be willing to take on the task? I first need to get an answer from the person who said he would sell me that cue. But I don't want to do it if I can't match the collars.
 
It looks like 1/4" melamine collars. I have some. If the builder of your choosing doesn't have the right stuff, i'll give you a collar. I'm not particularly interested in doing the work, but can give you a matching collar for somebody else if they don't have it. Looks nice. Good luck with your endeavor.

It looks to me that the deco-ring is a very easy one to fabricate. I believe the harder part would be matching the white collar to the joint collar. Not just the exact same material needs to be used but also the same finish for a perfect match. The best option would be to have the original builder do the work if possible as he would know materials originally used.

My eyes could be deceiving me, but That just looks like standard black filled maple billet. Maybe 8 slot? Anyway, It's pretty easy to make, so You may already have It, or can easily make It, but I happen have some 8 slot black filled maple that I already have made up & ready to go, and should be a perfect match, so if You end up needing some to complete the job, then I can send You a couple of rings, so feel free to PM, and maybe I can save You the time. I also have a short piece of the solid billet left if You need a different thickness or ID then what I already have chopped up.

Thanks for all the replies guys! I finally got in contact with the cues maker. Unfortunately the person whom I want to buy the cue from is also hard to get a hold of. Kind of a catch 22, I don't want to buy the cue unless I know the collar can be matched, but I can't match the collar without a cue.....:scratchhead:
