Can anyone explain in detail the BSCP/BMPAP issues?

The world 10-ball thread got a response that one fan was boycotting the event because the BSCP who bought the sanctioning rights from the WPA and created the world 10-ball championship tournament itself was running it.

I read this thread.

http://www.rayasports.com/columns_Two_Visions_ofPool.html

and this one

http://www.azbilliards.com/2000storya.php?storynum=6213

and am attempting to find out what the actual story is. The BSCP on those two articles don't seem to be too far off my viewpoints of pool, a true single player sport organized much like Tennis and Golf. They also seem to have been in a position of control over at least some of the sport in the Phillipines while that country has seen a heck of alot more growth in popularity of the sport compared to 99.9 percent of the other countries in the world.

I tried to read from BMPAP supporters on threads on AZBilliards but I am having a hard time seeing the actual specific complaints they have with the BSCP, they say "more lies from Yen" and claim he does not have the support of the players like he claims he does, but what I am trying to find out is what the exact, specific issues were that caused the rift to begin with?

I read one thing about a supposed 10 million P in money that went missing, the BSCP says they got 1.2 mil, the BMPAP says they got 10 mil and you end up with a "he says, she says" thing.

The BSCP seems to be focused on running tournaments and ground level development of the sport (according to them), the BMPAP seems to in effect be a player management organization/collaberation.

It confuses me that it came into being seemingly at the same time that the BSCP brought the World 9-ball championships to the Phillipines successfully and then went on to create the World 10-ball championships in the following year, which IMO is a pretty positive run for pool in that country. Yet the BMPAP seems to have wanted their players to boycott the BSCP tournaments, and this in turn caused the WPA (not the BSCP) to see this as a attack on a WPA sanctioned world championship event that could cause harm to the event (and it did) and thus threatened to ban players who refused to play in the WPA event from future WPA events.

Can anyone explain in very clear, non-biased fashion what caused the whole thing, what "facts" are present that caused the whole mess? It seems like nothing more then a power struggle and an attempt to steal control from a organization that had legal rights to it and is supported by the WPC and IOC. But that is why I am asking, what am I missing that caused the whole blowup? There has to be something more that the BSCP did that can be explained and make sense of it.
