Hey Everyone, I was having a look for a good straight pool or pool ball rack pic for my desktop and came across an image on flickr.com of a ball set that is a cross of BC's and SAP's, and I must say that they look pretty cool :)

Here's the link pic to the set in question :)

I'm curious as to which manufacturer makes/made this set and if they are still available? :)

Willie

EDIT - Had to post the link instead because the image wouldn't show, sorry about that people :)

It's been a few years since I've sen a set, but they look like Raschigs, to me. Could easily be wrong on this, though.

Hey Lou, how are ya buddy? :)

Happy New Year :)

Thanks buddy, I have been looking arond online to try and find various billiard ball manufacturers, other than Aramith, Epco and Vigma (Asian company) none of which have this design and the funny thing is, I remember a few years back that I was contemplating on getting in contact with Aramith to see how much it would cost to have a set of balls made with this same design, except for the hollow "Dart", I would have that sold black just like on BC's :)

Does anyone else know about who made these, like when they were made? :)

The balls are a Brunswick knockoff made in China. They are not good quality, I have also seen them with a star next to the number. I have seen both types on eBay, and i think that maybe Meuller Sporting Good s carried them at one time.

Have a good day!!!

Hey Craig and Scaramouche, Happy New Year guys :)

Thank you for the info and also for confirming something that I had suspected, as reguards the quality of the ball set not being very good.

Thank you scaramouche for posting a link for replacement Centennials, as it'll be a handy link for the future :)
