I have no idea what this cue is but if someone could give me a maker and roundabout price it'd be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
It's an Adam "Drake" from the early 1970's, named after the famous Drake Hotel in Chicago. The model # is A/H 11.
Once Adam ran out of airline names, they started using hotel names. I would say $300 - $400 if straight and in good shape. In the pics it looks like it has been well cared for. They have a tendency to warp in the wrap area because they used a piece of solid wood from the points to the buttsleeve.
What a guy thanks so much TATE. As stated above this forum is a one and only. I do appreciate your helpful insight. Regards.
There are so many cue makers out there that some are just going to be impossible to identify unless you know the back story. Pretty impressive ID on this one, though. I never realized that Adam made unmarked cues.
