Can anyone identify this tip?!?!?

Well I can definitely see I would never ask this forum what kind of tip I'm playing with. With the exception the ones who answered right. It ain't no Lepro, not a triangle,(both of them are brown color) not a sniper (do you see layers??) or any other genius (lol not) guesses.

Its not hard its soft, you can tell by the leather texture. It could be a cheapo Blue Knight, or a Blue Diamond that looks real close to a, guess what? An ELKMASTER! Oh my god do you suppose the guy actually put on the right tip?
Does it look anything like this one?

So what's wrong with guessing? Haven't you read any of the rules question threads?

Are you actually serious?

there are some very smart cookies around these parts wouldn't you think. It's funny that you disagree with the folks in the cuemakers section too.

I'll tell you what send the cue to me and I'll do the change for free and we can end this he said she stuff..

I'd like to see someone post a photo of the most popular tips out there for identification purposes. I have a few cues that I've purchased used with tips that i can't I.D.

I wish I wouldn't have chalked it. When new, the fibers had a gray hue to them. I cleaned the chalk off as best as possible, but still shows blue. I hope the blue isn't throwing people off.

I was going with it being a Triangle. When the tip is roughed, it has the consistency of an elk master. Fibers jet out and when pulled, are hard to remove.(if that makes sense)

Mantool if you were supposed to get an elky i will put one on there for you for free. No need for everyone to sit here and argue. I will make right for ya..

Jackal

Triangle. I've put thousands of these on house cues at Rusty's Billiards. (Arlington and Fort Worth TX.)

Triangle, see the fuzzies on the tip thats what triangles do when you scuff them only tip i know of that scuff like that.

Not the greatest picture.

The tip was chalked and shot with for about 2 racks. Chalk was cleaned off and tip was scuffed with sand paper.

Anyone know what this is?

Well then boys, which tips are these? Just asking since we have all the tip experts present. :D

I'll shoot first for you rod...

Left = LePro

Right = Sniper (but not 100% on this can barely make out if it has Layers from the pic)

EDIT: and they were put on by hand....

What about the one on the bottom? BTW no layered tips pictured.

I think I may have to retract my statement then.

Left is an Lepro (but think it might be a Triangle too) not sure why?

Right is an Elkmaster

Bottom is a LePro (Brand New) or a real good piece of chocolate!!!

Do you see any similarity to the OP's tip and the tips I posted?

The Lepro and the triangle look very much alike but when you look at how the tip is when is was scuffed is a dead give away..

I still stand behind what I said.

And yes I enjoy this game keeps me awake at work...

And you can pm the answers so we can be on the same page, Rod...
