Can Aramith Balls Get Water Damaged?

I have a chance to buy a nice set of Centennial balls that the seller says are in excellent condition but the box is water damaged. Assuming the balls were in the box when damaged, could the balls themselves be affected by sitting in water for an extended period of time?

Thanks,
RG

RG...I don't think so. There might be some kind of discoloration (which you should probably check, before you buy them), but I can't imagine that the playability would be damaged at all. It's a sealed thermoplastic ball.

Thanks Scott. That's what I thought but I decided to throw it out there just in case.

Cheers,
