Can I Get a RICHARD BLACK For 800$

Blacks

Hello Paris. I have three Blacks; a 30th anniversary which will never be played with, a Koa with silver and ebony that I have used very little, and a Black Baron that is my playing cue. Comparing the Baron to other cues that I have played with it seems to be quite stiffer. This is the complaint most folks seem to have about Richard's cues. It works for me so I am satisfied. I think cues are like cars, some people like Fords some don't. Whether it's a ten buck Walmart or a ten thousand dollar Drexler if it works for you that is all that matters.

$100.00 Richard Black

I bought a 1981 Richard Black from Cocomo, in Olympia , Wa. about 10 years ago. real bad shape. Broken ring at A joint, rolled real bad. Shaft was duck taped to butt, so as you already know, it rooled badly. The next day I found 2 1981 shafts, on E-bay from a guy in Texas, $100. shipped. I sent the whole works to Scott at Proficiant. In a week he had them looking absolutely like new. The duck tapped shaft still wasn't perfect but shootable. 1981 was one of the only years Richard used 5/16 x 18. Plane cue Bird-eye forearm with Ebony Barbells, notheing fancy, but it was a Richard Black, less than $300.00:D :D :D Jim
