Can mismatched cloth cause ball hopping with humidity?

So I play on some GCIs at my pool hall. I understand that a cushion nose that's too low will cause ball hopping. However there's a few tables that develop a ball hop when there's humidity bc the owners leaving the door open.

I know that the cloth on the bed is not the same as the cloth on the rail on those tables. If the cloth on the bed is thinner then it would in turn slightly lower the nose of the cushion and the extra humidity is what makes the ball hop take effect?

Any thoughts?

If the rail was set on a kitchen table would the nose height change?

There are so many good mechanics that view the section and bite their tongue and not post for whatever reason... Kinda the same ol stuff time after time...
The GC1 has probably had the cushions changed with a improper cushion and or had the subrails modified improperly causing the geometry to be out of specs to for proper play...the odd thing is you'll find 5 different guys that say 5 different things for the reason your table plays the way it does...

Best of luck.
