Can another country that will put up more money for a tournament that has already been sanctioned and owned by someone else, just come along and take over the U.S Open? That seems to me what has happened to the tournament at Corner Bank in Toronto. Johnnyt

Apparently so. When the BCA became a trade organization and let Pool swing now anything goes to the highest bidder. Pool went down from that point to now.

Didnt this happen with 10ball. First it was sponsored by San Miguel (Philippines) then it was taken over by Guiness and hosted in another country. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I recall that for the time it was switched it was hosted in China/Taiwan.
