Title says it all. My neigbor inherited a nice table. The tabls got tracks from breaking and thats about it. He doesnt play much so he doesnt wanna spend 200 on new simonis but hed like to be rid of the track marks.
So can it be done fellas? Thanks

The real answer is no, but course anything can be done, the other side is not finished and he will get the fuzzies and will be much slower.

Right on the money. Almost all cloths have a finished top side only.
Simonis 300 would be an exception and can be flipped.

well.......

Deal with the track marks=$0;)
Flip cloth over to play= not Simonis anymore, so not so good results:rolleyes:
Buy new SImonis, and get someone good to put it on=Pricele$$!

can't imagine why go thru all the trouble to move and set up and NOT recover only to have to redo at a later date . Money well spent while it is already down., especially the bed cloth... Oh well , I been wrong before

Thanks for the replys yall. I forgot that one side is finished and the other is not. He'll just have to deal with the track marks till he wants to put up the cash.

Thanks again

Why would he want to do that? Aren't you going to charge him again to disassemble the table to redo the bed cloth? I'd kill two birds with one stone at this point. Tell him to cough up the $180 and do it right the first time. He'll be glad he did.

Plus it takes 6 months of 8-10 hours a day on Simonis to get those track marks from 9-ball.. He'll probably never see track marks again unless he has no life.. j/k..

flipping simonis

a good alternative is to buy some champion tournament cloth. it's cheaper and at least as nice as 860. you can find it on ebay and craigslist. if your current cloth isn't ripped, you remove it, rinse it well in a tub, air dry, then reinstall. ironing is also an option.

Rinsing a worsted cloth in a tub won't remove track or ball marks.
