I have the opportunity to an Anniversary table at a good price, but it has damage to the slate.

Can cracked slate be repaired to a satisfactory level or would it need to be replaced?

Its a 5 x 10 snooker table. Can slate be found for this table?

Thanks for any and all help!!

Yes, depending on how it's cracked. I just got done not to long ago fixing a broken slate on a 6x12 snooker table. One of the slates was broken in half at the Ventura retirement center.

i fixed a gold crown slate that was shattered and cracked in half from a hammer hit. i glued it with JB Weld and used the glue to fill the area where there was no slate from the hammer smash. i did this by JB Welding a 1/4' sheet of aluminum to the back of the crack and shattered area, filling it with epoxy. i pulled the two pieces of slate together with a big spring in several places, checking to make sure that the pieces were perfectly level and not canted. i let it dry overnight then sanded it smooth. amazingly, a guy bought that table years later and when we picked up that slate for moving, it did not break! i attribute this to the metal that i glued to the back of the crack.

first though i glued the crack itself, THEN i filled the gaping hole with JB Weld. the aluminum backing kept the glue from leaking out. THEN i sanded the entire area smooth. it works!
